Tao Shen
Logo Ph.D. Candidate in Statistics

I am currently a Ph.D. student in Statistics at National University of Singapore, advised by Prof. Wanjie Wang. I previously earned my Master of Science in Statistics at National University of Singapore, mentored by Prof. Yifan Cui. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Statistical Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

My research interests cover personalized decision-making, statistical network analysis, high-dimensional statistics and causal inference. These areas are closely connected to current advances in artificial intelligence like reinforcement learning (RL), and large language models (LLMs), as well as medical, social and business applications, such as precision medicine, community detection, policy learning and pricing.
